Included with the system

8-pin slip ring with gold contacts

Gold-contact, 8-pin slip rings provide very low power loss through the rotating electrical connection.

External cable guide roller

A separate cable guide roller is included with the system. Positioned away from the winch, it guides the cable towards the deployment point.

Options

Specify the upgrades, cable and remote control for your survey configuration.

System upgrades

  • Programmable winding system: PLC-controlled winding for various cable diameters, with a programmable touchscreen interface.
  • Heavy-load cable handling: upgrade for heavy-load armoured tow cable.
  • Digital layback counter: upgrade to digital communication via RS485. A mechanical counter is included by default.

  • Kevlar-armoured coaxial cable
  • Steel-armoured coaxial cable

Remote control alternatives

  • Wired remote control with a 30-metre cable
  • Wireless remote control with 300 m RF modems
